Pushkin House-Museum. Beautiful blue mansion on the Arbat was once home to Aleksandr Pushkin. Alexander Pushkin, 1799-1837, is the Russian poet and author. In 1831, in Moscow he married Natalya Goncharova. It was here that Pushkin held his stag night and spent the first few months of married life. They lived for a few months in this Arbat Street house , which is now a museum. The house is a fine example of Empire era architecture.
